HIGH POINT — International Society of Furniture Designers has extended the 2022 Pinnacle Awards entry deadline another week to Aug. 10.
To be considered for the industry’s highest design honor product designers, manufacturers or students must enter the 2022 Pinnacle Awards on the ISFD website. Winners will be announced during the High Point Market.
“July is always a busy month with the Chicago, Atlanta and Las Vegas Markets keeping many manufacturers and designers extremely busy,” said John Conrad, ISFD executive director. “We have had requests from several companies for a deadline extension because they are experiencing delays in getting their photography work done for their entries or that they needed more time to finish up their submissions.”
The 26 Pinnacle Awards entry categories include:
- Accessories
- Entertainment furniture
- Floor coverings and rugs
- Home office
- Home textiles, woven and print
- Lighting
- Major collections
- Maker/designer
- Motion upholstery
- Occasional storage
- Outdoor
- Wall décor
- Youth
The following categories will recognize products in both the luxury and broad appeal sectors
- Bedroom
- Dining
- Leather upholstery
- Occasional tables
- Stationary upholstery
The Green Leaf Award will honor the best in sustainable furnishings design. The student Pinnacle Awards will recognize designers from colleges and universities across the country.
Submission details can be found at 2022 Pinnacle Awards. Entry deadline is August 10, 2022.
Winners will be announced during the High Point Market at the Pinnacle Awards Gala on Oct. 24 at High Point University’s Nido and Mariana Qubein Arena and Conference Center. Tickets will go on sale in September.
