Here’s how Loloi’s big investment in the Hall of Fame will be a game-changer

HIGH POINT — The Loloi family has invested $250,000 in the American Home Furnishings Hall of Fame Building Fund, putting its name on the enormous digital story wall in the building’s Celebration Hall.

The Loloi Dynamic Story Wall will feature a two-story, 25-by-13 foot digital matrix of interlaced LED screens that can be programmed with photography and videos.

“Our family is devoted to the home furnishings industry,” said Amir Loloi, CEO of Loloi Rugs. “We are passionate about the creative work that we do as a company and also that we are a fashion industry. With my two sons now involved in the business as our next leaders, we want to share our legacy with the industry that we love.

“We are supporting the Hall of Fame because it is focused on the future of the industry and where we are going. This project will provide a home that we have long needed to recognize the past and to celebrate the future.  The best is yet to come and Loloi wants to play a leading role in moving our industry forward,” Loloi added.

The project is on schedule to open at the April 2023 High Point Market. It is located just one block from the IHFC in the heart of the High Point Market, at 311 S. Hamilton St.

“This will be the industry’s home,” said Karen McNeill, CEO and chief vision officer. “The Loloi Dynamic Story Wall will enable us to host speakers and educational events in front of the big screen.  It will raise the bar as the perfect backdrop for major announcements and presentations — one that this industry will come to appreciate and to wonder, ‘What did we do without it?’”

The Grand Story Wall will play a digital matrix of videos and photography and will face the street to draw people inside. The Hall itself will feature interactive exhibits that will be organized around four themes:  the industry, the people, the process and the products. There will also be the Hall of Fame, a Women’s Center for Leadership, a Tribute Wall, an immersive theatre, Discovery Exhibits, the Tell Us Your Story video booth, a library, history center, the Leaders Board Room, and a coffee and cocktail bar.
