As the new senior vice president of sales at Sagebrook Home, Mike Cohen, who was appointed this summer, oversees sales strategy and initiatives for the Sagebrook Home sales force.
Cohen has more than 20 years of sales leadership experience in the home furnishings trade industry, having served most recently as senior vice president of sales at case goods and upholstery manufacturer New Classic Furniture. He was also president at Walker Furniture, held vice president positions at Coaster and Emerald Home Furnishings, and was instrumental in growing Guildcraft of California as a national key account manager for 20 years.
Cohen is also the co-chair of the auction committee for the City of Hope and is a board member of the Home Furnishings Association, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Sagebrook Home expanded its showroom presence in Las Vegas last year to accommodate its entry into the handpainted wall art and upholstered furniture categories. The California-based company also opened a new 500,000 square-foot distribution center in Summerville, S.C., in January this year to distribute products from both the East and West Coast using the latest technology.
