The Tower Lighting Collection Puts a Fresh Spin on Classic Shapes

French brand Designheure recently spent time exploring classic shapes, textures, and movement before adapting them to current contemporary times. Designed by Frédéric Malphettes, the Tower lighting collection plays with form and light, featuring vertical structures that resemble architecturally detailed art deco towers.

Malphettes’ inspiration comes through upon noticing how the various lamp shade shapes and sizes are stacked in such a way that they resemble a supporting column. Look further and there are openings that are a nod to windows and still others that connect the tower’s floors.

The Tower collection comprises three sizes of pendant lights, a table lamp, and two floor lamps. With these pieces you can create some truly graphic, architectural compositions for spaces of all sizes.
