Got a young leader you want to recognize? Nominate them for this GHTA award now

The Gift and Home Trade Association (GHTA) is preparing for the third addition of the Chad Corzine Young Gift & Home Executive Awards by putting out a call for nominations.

Named for the late Chad Corzine, founder of Urban Agriculture Co., the award seeks to honor Corzine’s legacy as a young business leader by recognizing a rising executive in the gift industry. The award’s first winner, Ryan Lanzel of Fire & Pine, was named in 2021 and 2022 winner Chelsea Peabody Bohannon was named in October 2022 and honored at Atlanta Market in January 2023.

Corzine – who died in 2021 – cofounded the Young Gift Executives group in 2014 with Dylan Schauben in order to bring together young professionals in the industry. It merged with GHTA in 2015 and resulted in an influx of young executives getting involved in GHTA’s leadership and conferences.

Chad Corzine Young Gift & Home Executive Award nominees should be under the age of 35 and have a passion for the industry and their business. Nominees do not need to be a current member of GHTA and may belong to any vendor, rep or allied group in the industry per the GHTA.

Nomination forms can be found online and can be returned via email by July 31 to michael@paladone.com and laburns212@gmail.com.

The winner of the 2023 Chad Corzine Young Gift & Home Executive Award will be announced and presented during the 2023 GHTA Conference Sept. 27 to Sept. 29 in San Antonio, Texas.
